We had a once a year board meeting at Waikiki Banyan tonight. The owners get together and

accept the Plan for the future and select the new board members and so on.

The biggest difference with Japan is that members in Hawaii always talk about how to protect their investment.  In Japan we always expect real estate prices to go down.  But in US, especially in Hawaii, people expect the price to go up. And up. And up!
